Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) is the state counselling committee for profession medical courses admissions. All the admission will be on the basis of NEET UG 2023 .
Last year NEET UG exam was sconducted on July 17 (Sunday) and result was declared on September 7 .
If we talked about NEET UG 2023 it is scheduled on May 7,2023 (Sunday) by NTA and result will be declared by June 13,2023.

NEET UG 2023 Examination will be in conducted once and in offline mode (pen and paper based ) not computer based.
The state counselling committee will publish the admission form for Jharkhand MBBS admission 2023 in the end of June, 2023 in online mode . Applicants who wants to take admission in state must qualify the NEET UG 2023 exam .In addition to this he/she must fulfil the eligibility criteria of the state. Only eligible applicants can apply for the state counselling .
If we talked about number of seats ,there are around 900 MBBS seats in Jharkhand including private , Government medical colleges and deemed.
Two Government medical colleges get approval for MBBS Admission last year. In addition to this Laxmi Chandravansi medical college & Hospital get approval for 100 MBBS admission last year.

In addition to this one deemed university” Manipal Tata Medical College, Baridih Jamshedpur” was also started few years back in the state. There are 150 MBBS seats in this Deemed medical college .
As per latest information , at the time of 2023-24 counselling there will be minimum 702 medical colleges with 107658 MBBS seats in India .If we compare with last year data this year there will be 8195 more MBBS seats.
Till now 50 new medical colleges gets approval for MBBS admission in coming session . Out of these 50 medical colleges 30 (Thirty ) are Govt. medical colleges while 20 (Twenty ) are private medical colleges. If we talked about state wise distribution of these medical colleges ,highest 11 (eleven ) are in Telangana ,05 (five) each in Rajasthan & Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra 04( four) ,Assam, Gujarat, Haryana ,Karnataka , Tamil NAdu 03(three) each, West Bengal, Odisha , J& K 02(each) and Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh , Nagaland 01(one)each.
As of now as per official website of NMC ( June 15,2023) there are 695 medical colleges in India . Out of these 695 medical colleges there are 383 Govt./Semi Govt. , AIIMS & Central Universities/ Instituitions , 51 are deemed Universities and remaining 261 are private medical colleges in various states/UT’s of India. If we talked about number of MBBS seats ,till now there are 106333 MBBS seats (55468 in Govt. /Semi Govt. Instituitions & 50865 in private/Deemed medical colleges across India).

Jharkhand MBBS BDS admission cum application form 2023
State counselling will release the admission form for Jharkhand MBBS admission 2023 in second week of June 2023 in online mode . Applicants who wants to take admission in state must qualify the NEET UG 2023 exam .In addition to this he/she must fulfil the eligibility criteria of the state. Only eligible applicants can apply for the state counselling .
Jharkhand MBBS merit list 2023
After successful form filling ,state counselling committee will publish state merit list for Jharkhand MBBS 2023 admission in the the begining of June,2023. List list will contains names of all those applicants who are eligible and applied the application form. This merit list will shows details like applicant’s name, NEET UG roll number, NEET UG Marks, category, domicile and qualifying status.
Jharkhand MBBS counselling 2023
Now all those applicants who are eligible and having their names in state eligibility list will be allowed to do counselling. These applicants can fill the choices of colleges online. Although their is a provision of documents verification of the candidates but this time this may change. Please verify the same at the time of counselling.

Number of MBBS seats in Jharkhand
In year 2020 there were total 680 seats. You also must also know that 15% seats of Govt. colleges are reserved for All India Quota. So effectively there are only 578 seats for Jharkhand state domicile students. One more important thing student must know that students from Bihar can also participate against these seats. This is the reason cut off goes on higher side.
