Everyone wants professional education but in India, the demand for this Professional Education is very high in every stream, and available seats to fulfil this demand in Government Colleges are very few or you can say low. 

So what the Government did, they have allowed Private Institutions and colleges to set up for Professional education, with the condition that a certain number of seats will be reserved for Merit quota students and the remaining seats are allowed to be reserved under Management quota.

And can charge higher fees or donations from the students wanting to get admission through management quota. However such students still need to fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the government.

But there is an alternative also and that if Govt. college or Semi Govt. colleges under NRI quota. And good thing is that there is no donation.

You can get MBBS Admission in Govt. colleges even with a NEET Score of 120 by taking the advantage of various types of seats.

These counselling for management quota for deemed universities is conducted by the Medical council committee (MCC).

On the other hand, for private medical colleges, the counselling for management quota is conducted by respective state council authority.

  • Medical council committee and authority began counselling for seat allocation in various rounds.
  • Students who get the seat under management quota need to download the allotment document from the official site and report to the deemed college before the deadline date.
  • Then the second round for seats announced by authorities.
  • In the second round, students need to fill the college choices once again and submit.
  • Second round counselling for the management quota is the same as the 1st round.
  • If any seats remained after the 2nd round then authorities announced for mop-up round.

To get admission under management quota in private medical colleges students need to fill separate forms in the respective state college. For form registration they need to pay fees to the college.

Eligibility criteria for admission through management quota

These are the eligibility parameters that are required to meet to apply for this quota.

  • Students live in India, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Nationals are eligible for admission through management quota.
  • Aspirants must be at least 17 years of age by December 31, 2020.
  • Must have qualified Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as subjects.
  • Students must have scored the passing marks from NEET.
