PG Medical seats in India 2021
As we know that NEET PG exam was conducted on September 11,2021 and result is already declared on September 28,2021.
Counselling for to 50% All India quota seats, all seats in Deemed/Central Universities and ESIC colleges will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Remaining 50% state quota seats will be conducted by the respective state counselling authorities.

NEET PG will be the basis for admission to Master of Surgery (MS) seats, Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats ,DNB and PG Diploma seats offered by 6,102 government, private, Deemed and Central Universities and Hospitals.
If talk about NEET PG 2019, a total of 1,43,148 candidates had registered for NEET out of which 79,633 candidates qualified.

NEET PG Result 2021
The result of NEET PG 2021 is already declared by NBE in the online mode on September 28, 2021.
The result will be published on the official website in the PDF format containing the roll number, score obtained (out of 800) and NEET PG rank of the candidates.
After the release of NEET-PG result, the authority will also publish the scorecard for NEET PG 2021.
The scorecard will be released for the candidates who will qualify for the 50% All India Quota seats.
Candidates will have to download the scorecard from the official website as it will not be sent to the candidates individually.
Medical aspirants who will qualify according to the NEET PG 2021 results will be eligible for the further processes of admission.

NBE has the sole authority to decide the NEET PG 2021 cut off which will be declared along with the result.
The NEET PG 2021 cut off score depends on various factors like difficulty level of the exam, number of applicants and availability of seats among others.
Only the candidates who will qualify according to NEET PG cut off 2021 will be included in the merit list released by NBE.
Candidates will have to secure marks corresponding to the NEET PG cut off percentile in order to qualify.

As per latest updates there will be more than 42720 seats for session 2021-22.
Last year various PG seats MD and MS programs have been increased. These seats will be available for current 2020-21 session. The Medical Council of India Board of Governors (MCI BOG) have given the permission for this increment.
This is declared by the Chairman of Medical Counsel India Board Of Governors,Prof Dr VK Paul to PTI.As per the report, after this approval total number of PG medical seats will be 36,192 .

After listening to this news all MBBS pass outs who are going to participate in NEET PG 2020 counselling at various levels are feeling very happy. Reason is very simple as , in the new academic session 2020-21 counselling, 36,192 PG medical seats (MD/MS) in major branches will be available.
We have informed about this in our earlier article .We have told that the maximum of seat increment comes with the move of the Medical Counsel of India as well as the central government to allow medical colleges to convert the seats in PG Diploma program to equal number of seats in MD/MS courses in return.
BoG Chairman and Niti Aayog member V K Paul further said that this increment is highest if we compare last few years. “In 2020-21 academic session, approximately 44,190 post-graduate medical seats (36,192 MD/MS seats and 8,000 DNB/FNB seats) will be available for 54,000 undergraduate MBBS pass-outs,” as per the news.

After this announcement the Medical counsel of India have accepted long pending demand of the medical aspirants. Earlier total number of PG medical seats were very less in comparison of number of applicants. This year more than 1,60,000 MBBS students were appeared in NEET PG 2020.As per the statement of Dr VK Paul ,Govt. is having a target of 80,000 PG medical seats by 2024.
For this purpose they will take help of private sector healthcare providers. By 2024, India will be able to attain the WHO norm of having one doctor for every thousand patients, he said.
