Government of Puducherry, Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) is the counselling conducting committee of Professional medical courses .All the admission in PG medical courses will be on the basis of NEET PG marks. To get admission ,applicants are supposed to apply online on the official website. After receiving application form state counselling committee will publish merit list online. This merit list will contain name of all eligible applicants for the counselling on the basis of their NEET PG 2023 state rank. All the admissions will be done on the basis of state merit list, reservation category of the applicant, choice filled and availability of seats in the state .
NEET PG 2023 correction Edit Window
Only those Candidates who have successfully deposyed his/her payment for the application form during Application Submission window will be allowed to edit their applications form during 30th January to 3rd February ,2023.
Kindly note,no new application can be registered or payment can be made during correction/edit window. However, the balance fee (if required) in case of change in candidate category and/or PwD status can be paid during the edit window. Any information/document can be changed/corrected during the edit window except of Name, Exam City, Nationality, Mobile Number and Email Address. Good thing is thta Information can be edited any number of times before the closure of the window.The last submitted information will be saved in records.
Final Edit Window: Deficiency related to images uploaded (photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression) shall be intimated to the concerned candidates and same can be corrected during the final edit window i.e. 14th February to 17th February ,2023. No further opportunity shall be given to make corrections. Candidates are advised to submit the images in their application as per prescribed image upload guidelines. Failure to submit images as per guidelines and/or failure to rectify the images shall invite rejection of the application.

As far as NEET PG 2023 admit card is concerned ,it will be available on official website from February 27,2023.

PG medical admission Puducherry 2023 : Eligibility Criteria
For Government Seats and Govt. Quota Seats in Private Medical/Dental College. Candidate seeking admission to PG Medical/Dental Courses should have to be qualified in the NEET-PG 2023 conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE).
Candidates should be citizen of India and those candidates who are claiming Government Quota seats should be resident of Puducherry and they have to furnish residence certificate issued by the competent authority. If the residence certificate is not produced, then they will not be eligible for Government Quota.
Candidates who have passed their MBBS Examination and completed the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) period are eligible to apply. However, the candidates should possess the Permanent Medical Council Registration Certificate of the States or of India at the time of counseling.Candidates should possess MBBS Degree course of any University recognized by Medical Council of India.
Management Quota Seats in Private Medical Colleges
Candidate seeking admission to PG Courses should have to be qualified in the NEET-PG 2023 conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE).
Candidates who have passed their MBBS Examination and completed the CRRI period on or before 30-06-2023 are eligible to apply. However, the candidates should possess the Permanent Medical Council Registration Certificate of the States or of India at the time of counseling. Candidates should possess MBBS Degree course of any University recognized by Medical Council of India.
NOT ELIGIBLE candidates for Puducherry NEET PG counselling
- Candidates who join a Post Graduate Degree course in any branch and discontinue the course on any grounds after the cutoff date fixed by the Medical Council of India are not eligible to apply for two subsequent academic years.
- applicants who take an allotment for PG Degree course in any branch in the final phase counseling and not join the course on or before the cutoff date are not eligible to apply for two subsequent academic years aspirants who are undergoing a Post Graduate Degree course are not eligible to apply for any Post Graduate Degree.
- Candidates who are completing a Diploma Course (including All India Quota) are not eligible in the same academic year to apply for any Post Graduate Degree Courses.
- applicants who have completed a Post Graduate Degree or candidates who possess a Post Graduate Degree are not eligible to apply for admission to any other Post Graduate Degree Courses. Candidate who is a Diploma holder is eligible to apply for Post Graduate Degree Course.

Puducherry PG Medical Counselling 2023
State counselling authority will conduct the Puducherry PG Counselling 2023 in online mode. There will be two round of counselling. Even after that some seats remains vacant then mop-up round will be conducted. All those applicants who have not been allotted in the first and second rounds of counselling can appear for the mop-up round.

Tuition fee for Puducherry NEET PG Counselling 2023
The candidates who are selected at the time of counseling shall deposit the tuition fee in the CENTAC Account as fixed by the Fee Committee in respect of Government / Management / NRI Quota Seats.

After mop up round, the Tuition fee is not refundable even if the candidate does not join after allotment is done or discontinues the course. Therefore, the candidates are advised to do their due diligence before opting for a seat in the mop up round.
SEATS AND METHOD OF SELECTION AND ADMISSION
Category 1 – Seats in Government Medical / Dental Colleges
Allotment for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats is done by the Director General of Health Services, New Delhi. The remaining seats will be allotted under State Quota by CENTAC. Surrendered seats from All India Quota are also allotted as per reservation guidelines by CENTAC.
Category 2 – Government quota seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges
Government Quota seats are allotted as per reservation guidelines by CENTAC.
Category 3 – Management quota seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges
Management Quota seat are allotted based on All India Merit by CENTAC. The Minority Quota seats are allotted based on the Minority Candidates Merit List.
Some seats may be permitted but not recognized by Medical Council of India at the time of counseling. Therefore the candidates should well examine these points and refer MCI website before opting for a seat. The CENTAC shall neither be responsible nor shall entertain any case on above grounds.
