B.Sc. Nursing?

B. Sc. (Bachelor of Science) in Nursing is a four-year professional course related to medical. To do B. Sc. nursing the applicants must have to fulfill minimum eligibility criteria .If we talked about criteria candidate having completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. Any one can get admission into the B. Sc. nursing course by appearing in common entrance exams held time to time.Our B.Sc. nursing degree is widely accepted throughout the universe because the course teaches nursing science along with the essence of humanities.

The average course fee for B.Sc. Nursing is Rs 10,500 to Rs 1.25 lakhs per annum. Fee may vary from college to college and state to state.

B.Sc. Nursing Eligibility Criteria

There are two options , a candidate can choose from the two options one B. Sc. (Basic) and other is B. Sc. (Post-Basic). The eligibility criteria for the both is mentioned below:

For B.Sc. (Basic) –student should pass 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and should be medically fit.

For B.Sc. (Post-Basic)  student should pass 10+2 in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). One has to obtain a certificate in GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) and register him/herself as RNRM (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) from the State Nurses Registration Council.

Kindly make sure, one has to submit a proof of training by Indian Nursing Council or equivalent in the following domain:

AFMC BSc Nursing Admission

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be based on the merit of the candidate at an All India level.A written objective type of examination will be conducted in February/ March every year, at certain selected centers (Published from time to time.) Successful candidates will be called for an interview at selected centers in the month of April/May each year. Candidates must be declared medically fit.

The fitness will be determined by a Medical Board of Military Medical Officers. Merit listed candidates based on the interview and medical fitness will be called for B. Sc. (Nsg) course. The students undergoing BSc nursing training will be granted permanent and Short Service Commission at a ratio of 60:40 based on their merit. The short service commission students are required to execute a bond of agreement to serve in the Military Nursing Service for a minimum period of 5yrs on successful completion of the course.
