Chhattisgarh MBBS BDS Admission 2023 | Chhattisgarh MBBS BDS Counselling 2023

Directorate of Medical Education, Raipur is  responsible for doing admission in all professional medical courses of Chhattisgarh. DME, Raipur is MBBS 2023 admission conducting committee of the state. The committee may release admission form for MBBS and BDS admission of Chhattisgarh in the month of  June ,2023. Mostly state admission form will be available after declaration of NEET UG 2023 result except one or two. All applicants will be able to apply this admission form in the month of  June ,2023.

Committee will  conduct the admission process on the basis of NEET UG 2023 Marks. There are approximately 1565 MBBS (including of Government and private ) and 332 BDS seats in Chhattisgarh.

If we talked about NEET UG 2023 it was scheduled on May 7,2023 (Sunday) by NTA and result will be declared by June 13,2023 .

Good news is that three New Government medical colleges Chhattisgarh gets letter of permission for session 2023-24. Out of these two are new and one private medical colleges ( Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial college,Durg ) is now overtaken by state Govt.

Good thing is that two more medical colleges were added from last year. Out of these two medical colleges -one is private medical college –SHRI BALAJI INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE RAIPUR  with 150 MBBS seats and another is Government medical college, Kanker with 100 MBBS seats.

Chhattisgarh MBBS 2023 admission – Eligibility criteria

All of your are supposed to go through the read the state counselling prospectus carefully .First of all you must know the admission eligibility criteria of the state .Some most important points are discussed here for your reference.

• All applicants looking admission in  MBBS and BDS  admission in Chhattisgarh must be Indian citizen.

•  Medical aspirant  must not be less than 17 years old on or before December 31, 2023.To see the details verify from the official website of MCC.

• All medical aspirants  who have cleared their class 10+2 examination from Chhattisgarh board or any other board which is recognized by Chhattisgarh government can apply in the state. These applicants  have done 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as their core subjects.

• The domicile criteria  for the state which help in getting admission in Govt. medical colleges of  Chhattisgarh in MBBS admission 2023 is given below-

1. All Applicants who are  born in Chhattisgarh are eligible

2. Applicants  or their parent(s) should be a resident of the Chhattisgarh for at least 5 years

3. Parent of the aspirant must be an employee to the Chhattisgarh or Central Government and must be living in the state

• Applicants whose parents or they themselves are a resident of the state must fulfill below-mentioned criteria

1. Applicants must have pursued a minimum of three years of their education from an school located in the state or in undivided Madhya Pradesh

2. Those Applicants who have not passed their class 8 from the state must appear in PSU of the same and must complete graduation from the state

3. In addition to this all those candidates are also eligible for Chhattisgarh MBBS 2023 admission who have done their Class 11 and 12 from a state recognized University or Board

4. All those applicants who have studied until Class 5 from Chhattisgarh state

• Another important criteria is to qualify  NEET UG 2023 exam  to get a MBBS or BDS seat in Chhattisgarh. The category-wise cutoff has been mentioned in the table below.
