We would like to inform you that the registration process for Delhi’s 85% state quota admission for MBBS, BDS, BMS, BHMS, or paramedical courses had started from February 1,2025 and last date of registration is March 31 , 2025. You must also know that IPU will conduct state quota counselling of medical colleges like NDMC, BSA, and Army College of Medical Sc.
Last year IPU, New Delhi had re-opened registration cum counselling application form for MBBS/BDS/AYUSH course from August 5 , 2024 and last date for the same was August 16 , 2024.

If we talked about NEET UG 2024 was conducted on May 5,2024 (Sunday) by NTA and result was declared on June 4 ,2024.
New Medical college in Delhi in 2024
Good news is that , one new medical college are proposed this year in UT. Here is list of all medical colleges through out India which have applied for MBBS admission approval from 2024-25 session.
As per latest information from officail website of NMC , there are medical colleges with 117975 MBBS seats in India as of now (January 22, 2025) .If we compare with last year data this year there will be 15000 more MBBS seats.
112 New Medical colleges in India 2024
As per latest notification on official website of NMC, 112 medical colleges are proposed this year (2024-25 session), out of these 50 are Govt medical colleges and remaining 62 are private/deemed medical colleges.

List of newly added medical colleges in 2024 [proposed]
Last year 53 new medical colleges gets approval for MBBS admission for session 2023-24. Out of these 53 new medical colleges 31(Thirty one) were Government and 22 (Twenty Two) were deemed/private medical colleges.
If we check state wise new medical colleges ,highest 12 (Twelve) were in Telangana ,05 (five) each in Rajasthan ,Andhra Pradesh ,amp; Maharashtra ,04 (Four ) in Gujarat ,03 (Three) each in Assam, Haryana ,Karnataka , Tamil Nadu , 02 (Two) in West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha , J,amp; K and 01 (one) each in Uttar Pradesh ,amp; Nagaland .
As of now, as per official website of NMC ( January 22,2025) there are 779 medical colleges in India . Out of these 779 medical colleges there are 431 Govt./Semi Govt. , AIIMS ,amp; Central Universities/ Instituitions , 55 are deemed Universities and remaining 293 are private medical colleges in various states/UT’s of India. If we talked about number of MBBS seats ,till now there are 117975 MBBS seats (60460 in Govt. /Semi Govt. Instituitions and 57515 in private/Deemed medical colleges across India.
If we go through the official website data we find that 8420 MBBS seats are already updated on official website of NMC for coming session .

Last year 53 new medical colleges gets approval for MBBS admission for session 2023-24. Out of these 53 new medical colleges 31(Thirty one) were Government and 22 (Twenty Two) were deemed/private medical colleges.
If we check state wise new medical colleges ,highest 12 (Twelve) were in Telangana ,05 (five) each in Rajasthan ,Andhra Pradesh , Maharashtra ,04 (Four ) in Gujarat ,03 (Three) each in Assam, Haryana ,Karnataka , Tamil Nadu , 02 (Two) in West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha , J, K and 01 (one) each in Uttar Pradesh ,Nagaland .
As of now, as per official website of NMC ( January 22 ,2025) there are 779 medical colleges in India . Out of these 779 medical colleges there are 431 Govt./Semi Govt. , AIIMS , Central Universities/ Instituitions , 55 are deemed Universities and remaining 293 are private medical colleges in various states/UT’s of India. If we talked about number of MBBS seats ,till now there are 117975 MBBS seats (60460 in Govt. /Semi Govt. Instituitions and 57515 in private/Deemed medical colleges across India.

Those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the authority will only be able to do registration in the IPU MBBS online registration 2025. In IPU there are around 348 MBBS and 43 BDS seats under the 85% state quota. All the admissions will be on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET UG 2025).

Eligibility criteria for IPU MBBS admission 2025
Aspirants are advised to go through the eligibility before applying for IPU MBBS 2025 admission, just to check whether they’re eligible or not. The basic eligibility criteria for IPU MBBS admission 2025 are mentioned below.

Candidates should be minimum 17 years old as on December 31, 2025. There is no upper age limit,please refer official website for latest update.

Aspirants must have passed class 12th or its equivalent examination from CBSE/other boards separately in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

The minimum marks required by the un-reserved category candidates in 10+2 subject is 50%, where as for SC/ST/OBC candidates it is 40% and for PwD it’s 45 %.

Procedure to Fill IPU MBBS Application form 2025
Candidates must check out the process to fill IPU MBBS application form 2025 as filling the application process is compulsory for IPU MBBS counselling 2025.
Step 1: Registration along with uploading of documents
In the first step of the process, aspirants are required to fill the basic information as mentioned in the IPU MBBS 2023 application form. Details that a candidate must require to fill in the form are:

Step 2- Filling the academic details
After submitting the personal details and uploading the documents in IPU MBBS registration process, aspirants are required to click on the ‘Next’ button where they need to provide the academic details as mentioned below:

Qualifying examination status – passed or appearing
Step 3: Declaration
After filling all the necessary details, candidates will be directed to the final submission page on which they must accept the declaration page by clicking on the ‘I Agree’ button. Aspirants also need to enter the captcha code mentioned on the screen. Just in case there are any changes required, aspirants are advised to move back and rectify the details as it cannot be edited after the submission.
Step 4: Issuance of Login ID and password
Aspirants who will successfully complete the IPU MBBS application form 2025 will be received a login ID and password on their email ID mentioned in the IPU MBBS application form 2025. Aspirants are advised to retain the login credentials for future reference. Using the login credentials, aspirants can login for filling the remaining the IPU MBBS application form 2025.
Step 5- Course selection in IPU MBBS/BDS 2025 application form
In this step, candidates are required to click on ‘Apply for the course’. After clicking, a drop-down will display the number of courses. From those courses, aspirants must choose ‘MBBS/BDS’ as the course to apply for IPU MBBS/ BDS admission 2025. The NEET UG 2025 Roll number must be entered after that. Click on ‘submit’ if no changes are required.
Step: 6- IPU MBBS application fee payment
IPU MBBS 2025 application fee must be paid in the modes through online mode using credit card, a debit card or net banking. The amount of IPU MBBS 2025 application form is Rs 1500/-. Aspirants must note that it is important to pay the IPU NEET application form fees for successful submission.
Step 7- Taking a print out of IPU application form 2025
After the successful submission of the IPU MBBS BDS 2025 application form, a confirmation page will appear on the screen. Aspirants are advised to 3 application form confirmation page for future use.
Process after IPU MBBS application form 2025
After the completion of the registration, the authority will release the list of candidates who have filled the application form as a form of IPU MBBS merit list 2025. Those who will be included in the merit list will be called for IPU MBBS BDS counselling 2025 for allotment of medical and dental seats offered by five MBBS (including Army college of medical sc.)and one BDS colleges (ESIC)for IPU MBBS admission.
The counselling process is generally in online mode . Be in touch to know the latest update. On the grounds of IPU MBBS merit rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses, reservation criteria, no. of seats , the admission to IPU MBBS BDS 2025 will be granted. Eligible students must report at the counselling for allotment of seats under 85% state quota seats.
Remaining 15 % seats are to be filled through All India Quota. The authority will also release NEET 2025 Cut off IPU at the end of the entire admission process. The cut off will represent the last rank on which admission will be granted to the specific institute.
