In this article we will discuss about MBBS Admission 2025 Documents required . As lots of students have confusion that what are the documents required at the time of MBBS BDS Admission . We wanted to make it clear that if you are going to take admission through All India Quota ,all major documents will be required at the time of reporting in the college but if you are going to participate in state counselling then documents verification will be done before counselling.

Below mentioned documents are required at time of admission through all India Quota. One more point we would  to add that from last few years  OBC and EWS category has been added so if you are having any such category then make sure that you are having valid documents of current session.

NEET UG 2025 Admit Card

NEET  UG Result /Rank Card 2025

Date of Birth Certificate

Class 10th Certificate

Class 11th Certificate

12th Class Certificate

Class 12th Marksheet

Provisional Allotment letter-issues by counselling Authority

Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/Voter Id,Ration Card,Passport, Driving Licence)

Caste /PwD Certificate only if applicable

Eight(08) passport size photograph same as affixed on the application form

Medical Certificate

Character certificate

Gap Certificate if applicable

Kindly make sure that at the time of physical reporting you are having all above documents in original as well as at least 4-5 sets of xerox copy.

NEET UG 2025 Result Date Expected

As NTA has declared NEET UG 2025 examination schedule which is likely to be condcuted on May 4, 2025 (Sunday) , so we can expect NEET UG result by end of May, 2025.

MBBS seats in India 2023

As per latest information , at the time of 2023-24 counselling there will be more than 705 medical colleges with 108500 MBBS seats in India .If we compare with last year data this year there will be 8195 more MBBS seats.

Last year more than 50 new medical colleges gets approval for MBBS admission in coming session . Out of these 50 medical colleges ,highest 11 (eleven ) were in Telangana ,05 (five) each in Rajasthan , Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra 04( four) ,Assam, Gujarat, Haryana ,Karnataka , Tamil NAdu 03(three) each, West Bengal, Odisha , J, K 02(each) and Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh , Nagaland 01(one)each.

As of now as per official website of NMC ( January  21,2025) there are 779 medical colleges in India . Out of these 779 medical colleges there are 431 Govt./Semi Govt. , AIIMS , Central Universities/ Instituitions , 55 are deemed Universities and remaining 293 are private medical colleges in various states/UT’s of India. If we talked about number of MBBS seats ,till now there are 117975 MBBS seats (55468 in Govt. /Semi Govt. Instituitions , 57515 in private/Deemed medical colleges across India).
