If we talked about total number of PG medical seats in India as on Today (February 7 , 2024) there are 52763 in total , out of which 31345 are in Govt colleges/Institutions and 21418 in private/deemed colleges across India. Good thing is that , at the time of counselling more seats will be added.

Before starting we would also like to discuss Eligibility rule for NEET PG for foreign nationals.

It is not mandatory for foreign nationals to have temporary registration with MCI at the time of writing NEET-PG. Foreign Nationals can write NEET-PG without MCI registration. The Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Graduate course limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time.
