NEET UG 2022 exam was conducted on July 17,2022(Sunday) and result was declared on September 7 ,2022.
Uttarakhand MBBS BDS admission 2022 mop up round counselling schedule
As soon as result will be declared MCC will start counselling for All India Quota level counselling. Just after that state Committee will conduct the Uttarakhand MBBS BDS 2024 counselling in the month of June /July 2024. Only NEET UG 2024 qualifying applicants will be able to participate in the admission process.
There are almost 1150 MBBS ( including Govt. and private seats) and 200 BDS seats in Uttarakhand state .
Last year one Govt. Medical college (Soban Singh Jeena Govt. Institute of Medical Sciences , Research Almora ) with 100 MBBS seats and one private medical college (Gautam Buddha Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya, Dehradun) with 150 MBBS seats got approval.
There will be three rounds of counselling in the Uttarakhand MBBS counselling 2024. Out of these three two will be in the online mode and mop-up round in the offline mode. To participate in Uttarakhand MBBS 2024 counselling applicants are supposed to apply the admission form and fulfil the eligibility criteria. There are total five medical college as on today.
Before the commencement of the counselling session, the authority will release the Uttarakhand MBBS merit list 2024, mentioning all the names of the eligible candidates. The merit list will be released and prepared on the basis of NEET 2024 scores.. To participate in the Uttarakhand MBBS counselling 2024, the aspirant must be included in the merit list.

Out of these 08 Medical colleges ,three 04 Government medical college,one AIIMS and remaining 03 are private. As a medical aspirants you must know that in Government college 15 % seats are reserved for All India quota and remaining 85 % seats are for state students. Last year 53 new medical colleges gets approval for MBBS admission for session 2023-24. Out of these 53 new medical colleges 31(Thirty one) were Government and 22 (Twenty Two) were deemed/private medical colleges.
If we check state wise new medical colleges ,highest 12 (Twelve) were in Telangana ,05 (five) each in Rajasthan ,Andhra Pradesh ,amp; Maharashtra ,04 (Four ) in Gujarat ,03 (Three) each in Assam, Haryana ,Karnataka , Tamil Nadu , 02 (Two) in West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha , J,amp; K and 01 (one) each in Uttar Pradesh ,amp; Nagaland .
As of now, as per official website of NMC ( March 21,2024) there are 706 medical colleges in India . Out of these 706 medical colleges there are 389 Govt./Semi Govt. , AIIMS ,amp; Central Universities/ Instituitions , 52 are deemed Universities and remaining 265 are private medical colleges in various states/UT’s of India. Uttarakhand MBBS 2024 Seat Allotment
The allotment of seats for Uttarakhand MBBS 2024 will be published for each round separately. However, the merit rank of the applicants and choices filled by them will be taken into account for making seat allotments. Applicants who have been allotted college in first round can also go for next round of counselling for up gradation. Please verify the same before participating in the counselling .In case there is no up gradation, applicants earlier round seat will be remains safe.
