Uttarakhand could be a good option as far as PG medical admission is concerned as fee is very nominal for clinical branches.

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) is responsible to conduct Uttarakhand PG medical 2023 admission. The authority will begin admission to Uttarakhand PG medical 2023 with the release of the application form in the the month of April,2023. Candidates who will qualify the NEET PG 2023 Exam and fill the Uttarakhand PG medical application form 2023 will be considered for admission process.
According to latest notification of February 7,2023, all desirous candidates who are completing their internship during July 1,2023 to August 11,2023 can apply for NEET PG 2023 from February 9 ( 3 pm onwords) to February 12,2023 (till 11:55 pm).Edit window for all such candidates will be opened on February 15,2023.
Correction window for all above candidates will be opened from February 18 to February 20,2023.f
Only those Candidates who have successfully deposyed his/her payment for the application form during Application Submission window will be allowed to edit their applications form during 30th January to 3rd February ,2023.
Kindly note,no new application can be registered or payment can be made during correction/edit window. However, the balance fee (if required) in case of change in candidate category and/or PwD status can be paid during the edit window. Any information/document can be changed/corrected during the edit window except of Name, Exam City, Nationality, Mobile Number and Email Address. Good thing is thta Information can be edited any number of times before the closure of the window.The last submitted information will be saved in records.
Final Edit Window: Deficiency related to images uploaded (photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression) shall be intimated to the concerned candidates and same can be corrected during the final edit window i.e. 14th February to 17th February ,2023. No further opportunity shall be given to make corrections. Candidates are advised to submit the images in their application as per prescribed image upload guidelines. Failure to submit images as per guidelines and/or failure to rectify the images shall invite rejection of the application.
As far as NEET PG 2023 admit card is concerned ,it will be available on official website from February 27,2023.

For each round, the competent authority will release the merit list of Uttarakhand PG medical 2023. Only those candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be invited to participate in the online Uttarakhand PG medical 2023 counselling. The competent authority will conduct the counselling for 50% of the state quota seats offered in medical and dental colleges of Uttarakhand. Remaining 50% seats will be filled by counselling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Candidates will have to qualify NEET PG in order to be considered eligible for Uttarakhand PG medical 2023 admission. Based on NEET PG 2023 scores, admission to courses like Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and PG diploma courses will be granted. All aspirants who are willing to get admission in Uttarakhand state PG medical colleges for session 2023 , have to fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the state admission committee. Some of the most important eligibility criteria is as follows:
For getting admission in Uttarakhand PG medical courses, applicants must be citizens of India .
To get admission in Uttarakhand it is necessary for applicants to do MBBS from a college situated in Uttarakhand and recognized by MCI.
This condition is not applicable to applicants applying for management quota seats.
Applicants is supposed to complete Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship of 12 months
Medical aspirants must be registered with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
Applicants who are already doing a postgraduate degree or diploma course then they are not eligible* unless they complete their existing course.* condition apply
First of all Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University will release information brochure in the month of April 2023. After it all interested applicants can apply the admission for Uttarakhand PG medical 2023 . The counselling committee will entertain fresh registration for each round of counselling. So, applicants are supposed to apply the admission form of Uttarakhand PG medical if no seat have been allotted in previous round of counselling. After receiving admission form , the counseling committee will publish a merit list .
This merit list will have name of all eligible applicants . Before entering the details in the admission form, applicants will be required to deposit prescribed registration fee of Rs 4000. Click here to see the details of registration and security amount. There will be provision of editing also but for that applicants have to deposit additional amount of Rs 500. It is mandatory to pay the security amount along with the Uttarakhand PG medical application 2023, other wise their form will not be accepted. Applicants can see the details of this fee from official website.
Only successful registered applicants will be allowed to do and take admission in Uttarakhand PG medical colleges in 2023 . The merit list for the first round of counselling is likely to be published in the month of April, 2023. This merit list will contains details like applicant’s name, NEET PG Roll no. NEET PG marks, NEET PG Rank, Domicile certificate, reservation category, Uttarakhand state rank.
There is a provision of Additional weightage to the in-service candidate in PMHS and Uttarakhand bonded applicants in the merit list of Uttarakhand PG medical 2023. Applicants can see the previous year merit lists from official website .
There are total three round of counselling for Uttarakhand PG medical admission. Do remember that first two round of counselling will be in online mode and mop up round will be conducted in offline mode only. To take participate in Uttarakhand state counselling applicants have to register online official portal using his/her Testing ID provided by NBE as the login ID. After this applicants, have to apply the registration form and enter priority and choices of branches and Institute. There is no limitation on the no. of choices entered by the applicants in the form of branches and colleges.
Kindly make it sure that the choices entered and locked cannot be modified. Seat in PG medical course will be allotted on the basis of choices entered by the applicants, the number of seats available in the state and NEET PG 2023 rank. After this seat allotment list will be published which will indicate the name of Institute and branch that an applicant has been allotted. Applicants must go through the seat matrix before going to participate in counselling.
