Karnataka Medical Council Registration, Procedure Step by Step Guide!
Karnataka Medical Council: So you are completed or maybe yet to complete his/her internship after graduating from medical course and now want to get permanent registration from the Medical council to practice independently as a medical graduate.
So, Karnataka medical council plays his role here and you can apply at KMC for this.
But most people don’t know the procedure or what steps you should take?
Unfortunately, there are not much information related to it that’s why we have written this article to help all of you.
Here you will get every information related to registration, procedure and finally getting your degree.

Karnataka Medical Council Registration Procedure
- You have to go personally at the Karanataka medical council building
- Submit the Registration form with all documents in the morning.
- If everything okay then you will get the degree by the evening.
Documents needed from your college
These documents must be prepared by you from your college before you go to Karnataka medical council and apply.
- 10th and 12th mark sheets
- Copies of college mark sheets
- Photos (at least 5 color and 5 B/W)
- Complete Logbook
- NO DUE Certificate
- Approx. Rs. 2500/- for certificates. (maybe different acc. to your college)
- Optional – Receipt of caution deposit ( paid at the time of admission )
- Filled Application for PDC – form provided by the college with seal and sign of principal
- Filled Application for Convocation – a form provided by the college with seal and sign of principal
- Copy of provisional KMC registration along with Original
Xerox and make 4 to 5 sets of copies of all the documents.
- Internship Completion certificate
- Bonafide Certificate
- Attempt Certificate
- Certificate regarding the amount paid for PDC and Degree Certificate.
- Any additional certificate if you have (optional)
Please note that don’t leave any of the above documents as they are going to be needed at the Karnataka medical council.
After getting all documents, certificates, and forms, make sure that your name, dates, reg. no. are correct.
Steps at Karnataka Medical Council
- Go to Karnataka Medical Council at#70, 2nd Floor, “Vaidyakeeya Bhavana”, K.R. Road,H.B. Samaja Road Corner, Basavanagudi, Bangalore at SHARP 10:30 am. map of KMC
- Then go to reception and ask for form for permanent KMC registration.
- Fill the application form and submit along with 3 color photos and a copy of the above mentioned attested documents and ORIGINAL Provisional KMC registration certificate.
- Please provide your original docs when they ask for crosschecking.
- Then next go to RGUHS University at 4th T block, Jayanagar. KMC to RGUHS route map
- Go to counter 1 in the Asst. Registrar Office and submit the following documents
I. Application form of PDC along with
- Attested copies of all marks card
- Attested copy of internship completion certificate
- Attempt certificate ( if they ask)
II. Application form of Convocation
- Attested copies of all marks card
- Attested copy of internship completion certificate
- Attempt certificate ( if they ask)
- 2 passport size B/W photos
- Certificate of Fee detail by the college
At around 2:30 pm the same day, Collect the Provisional Degree Certificate from the Registrar (evaluation) office on the 2nd floor or else at the same place where you have submitted.
After this, again to KMC with 2 Xerox copies of the PDC before 4 pm as it is open till 5 pm.
Submit the Xerox of PDC and Collect Original KMC registration.
Before leaving the office, please check the name, date, and reg. no. as it is correct or not.

Fees to be paid at KMC
a) Permanent Registration Fee Rs.1000.00
b) Additional qualification Fee (For Each Degree/Diploma) Rs.500.00
The fees can be paid in the Indian Bank below the KMC office.
