Low budget medical colleges in India
As per NTA notification , this year NEET UG 2026 will be conducted on May 3 , 2026 (Sunday) and result is expected by June 14 , 2026 after that state has released merit list for MBBS BDS and other profession courses admission.
In Govt. medical colleges 15% of total seats are reserved for All India Quota and counselling for these seats are conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). For the remaining 85 % seats of Govt. colleges and 100% seats of private medical colleges(if any) counselling will be conducted by state authority.

All India Quota counselling
All of you know that 15 % seats of all Govt. colleges across India are filled by All India Quota. Remaining 85 % seats of state Government medical colleges are covered through state counselling. One more thing is that now Kerala is an open state. Open state is that state which allows other states students to participate in counselling. And on the basis of their score they can get the admission.
Although there are only 15% seats which are open for all.
