Assam PG Medical Admission 2024 | Assam PG medical cut off 2023
Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Guwahati is responsible for conducting admission to professional courses like PG medical/dental and UG . The counselling committee will release the schedule of the first round of online counselling soon after All India Round one counselling.
This year NEET PG 2024 examination is going to be conducted on June 23 , 2024 and result will be declared by July 15 , 2024. As far as counselling is concerned it will be done in between August 5 ,2024 to October 15 , 2024. Academic session will starts from September 16 , 2024 and last date of joining institute is October 21,2024.

Along with the Assam PG state merit list, the admission counselling committee will publish regarding 3% marks in the entrance examination. These addition marks will be awarded to all those candidates who are serving in remote or difficult area pf the state.
Only those applicants can participate in counselling who have applied PG medical application form .At the time of registration applicants is supposed to enter NEET PG 2024 details, personal, educational, contact and other required details. On the basis of details entered ,the counselling committee publish state merit list .This list will be published online mode having state rank, domicile, graduation details and other important information ones.
NEET PG 2024 correction Edit Window
Only those Candidates who have successfully deposyed his/her payment for the application form during Application Submission window will be allowed to edit their applications form during June, 2024.
Kindly note,no new application can be registered or payment can be made during correction/edit window. However, the balance fee (if required) in case of change in candidate category and/or PwD status can be paid during the edit window. Any information/document can be changed/corrected during the edit window except of Name, Exam City, Nationality, Mobile Number and Email Address. Good thing is thta Information can be edited any number of times before the closure of the window.The last submitted information will be saved in records.
Final Edit Window: Deficiency related to images uploaded (photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression) shall be intimated to the concerned candidates and same can be corrected during the final edit window i.e. June, 2024. No further opportunity shall be given to make corrections. Candidates are advised to submit the images in their application as per prescribed image upload guidelines. Failure to submit images as per guidelines and/or failure to rectify the images shall invite rejection of the application.

PG medical seats in Assam 2024
There are around around 652 PG medical seats including Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and PG Diploma in Assam.
On the basis of Assam PG state merit rank, applicants will be allowed to take part in counselling process. Applicants eligible for counselling of Assam PG medical 2024 are supposed to enter their choices in the form of Institutes as well as branches. Admission criteria to Assam PG medical 2024
The counselling committee will give admission to following Assam PG medical courses on the basis of NEET PG 2024 scores.
-
For 50% All India Quota seats, MCC conducts counselling for admission to 50% AIQ seats on the basis of NEET PG 2024 marks.
-
The admission to the remaining 50% state quota seats and 100 % seats of private college will be done by DME, Assam, based on state merit rank derived through NEET PG 2024 marks.
-
Admission to all MD/MS/PG Diploma seats in private universities will also be done on the basis of NEET PG 2024 marks by counselling authority.

Although there is no deemed/central universities in Assam otherwise it will be held by DGHS on behalf of MCC for admission to PG medical courses on the basis of NEET PG 2024 marks .

It is compulsory for all applicants to know the state eligibility criteria of Assam PG medical 2024 .This will help you to check whether you are eligible or not. Some of the important factors are mentioned as below :

state Domicile : Only those applicants who are the permanent resident of the Assam.

Academic qualification: It is compulsory for all aspirants to obtain MBBS provisional or pass certificate from a college/institute/university affiliated from Medical Council of India.

Completion of one year internship: Medical aspirants who have completed or will complete the rotatory internship of one year on or before , 2024 can apply for Assam PG medical admission.

Assam PG medical Merit List 2024
The counselling committee, DME, Assam will publish the Assam PG medical 2024 merit list in online on the basis of marks obtained in NEET PG 2024. Only those applicants who have submitted on or before the last date are included in the merit list. These successful applicants are eligible for counselling process.
Assam PG medical merit list 2024 is having the name of applicants, category, NEET PG score 2024, NEET PG rank, state merit rank, MBBS completion state. But you must aware that mere inclusion in the merit list does not guarantee a seat in Assam PG medical admission 2024.
Assam PG medical admission form 2024
The admission form of Assam PG medical 2024 will be available in the month of July/ August ,2024.This form is in the online mode and last date to apply will be around mid of August. This time the registration can be done in the online mode only. In the Assam PG medical application form , applicants will be asked to enter their details such as NEET PG 2024 details, personal details , qualification, contact and other required information. State committee have fixed application fee of Rs 1000 for successful application form submission.

Assam PG medical counselling 2024
The counselling committee of Assam PG medical 2024 will do admission in online mode. But only medical applicants will be able to do the counselling who included in the state merit list .Mainly there will be two round of counselling .But if still there is any seat vacant then third of counselling will be there.
The first round of Assam PG medical 2024 counselling will be held in the month of August , 2024. Similarly second round of counselling will be held in the month of September ,2024. At the time of counselling process, applicants are supposed to enter choices in the form of college and branch of your interest. Then state counselling committee on the basis of preferences, state merit rank, number of seats available, reservation criteria and other factors, the admission to Assam PG medical 2024 will be given.
