Increase in seat of MD/MS in Rajasthan for session 2020-21

This is really very good news  for all those medical under graduate students who wish to do PG from Rajasthan in session 2020-21.

Addition Seats

According to latest updates around 950 seats are expected to be added for session 2020-21.These seats are to be added in branches.Some good private medical colleges are also getting these seats.

These MD,MS seats will be increased in six medical colleges of  Rajasthan.

Colleges

If we talked about the locations of these Colleges .They are situated in various different cities like

  1. Jaipur
  2. Jodhpur
  3. Kota
  4. Bikaner
  5. Ajmer
  6. Udaipur

These seats are increased under center sponsored scheme to promote medical education to India.Central Govt. is trying hard to reduce the deficiency of Doctors .This is the reason that lots of new medical colleges are getting approval.Last year in session 2019-20 lots of Diploma seats upgrade.

According to health minister of Rajasthan that there are till 1180 seats and with the increase of around 1000 seats capacity will be almost doubled.

This will help to address the shortage of doctors up to some extent.

New Medical Colleges

In addition to this state govt. have applied for 10 new medical college.

And good thing is that Central Govt. have given nod for the establishment.

These new colleges will be in

  1. Banswara
  2. Jaisalmer
  3. Banswara
  4. Alwar
  5. Naguar
  6. Bundi
  7. Sirohi
  8. Chittorgarh
  9. Baran
  10. Sri Ganga Nagar District.
