We wanted to inform you Punjab state is closed state and does not allows other state candidates to take part in counselling except minority institutions for MBBS course but non domicile candidates are allowed for BDS and AYUSH courses.
Punjab MBBS Admission 2023 | Punjab MBBS counselling 2023
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) is official counselling authority to do Punjab MBBS /BDS admission 2023.
It will cover all MBBS and BDS colleges of the state .You must know that state counselling authority of Punjab MBBS/BDS do admissions for 85% state quota seats in Government and Government-aided and 100 % seats in private colleges or university. If we talked about total number of seats in all medical colleges of Punjab there are almost 1575 MBBS and 970 BDS seats in Punjab.
If we talked about NEET UG 2023 it is scheduled by NTA on May 7,2023 (Sunday) and result will be declared in month End.
NEET UG 2023 exam date by NTA
All the Admissions will be purely on the basis of NEET UG 2023 marks. The admission form of Punjab MBBS 2023 will be available in online mode after NEET UG 2023 exam .
Last year NEET UG result was declared on September 7.
The Punjab state MBBS 2023 merit list will be published category-wise, based on the score in NEET UG 2023. You must know that only NEET UG 2023 qualified students are eligible to take part in counselling process. In addition to this make sure that only those applicants whose name displayed in this list will be eligible to do counselling and admission. Counselling will be executed in online mode for first round , and remaining counselling will be in offline mode .

Punjab Govt. & Private Medical colleges MBBS Fees Increase
As per latest prospectus, fees struture of all private & Govt. Medical colleges has been increased by 5 % from 2022-23 session. We wanted to make it clear that there is no increament in NRI quota MBBS fees.Here is the latest fee structure.

Punjab MBBS BDS Admission Eligibility Criteria 2023
All medical aspirants willing to take admission in MBBS and BDS courses in Punjab have to fulfill Punjab state MBBS 2023 eligibility criteria. Some of the most important eligibility criteria of Punjab MBBS 2023 including minimum age limit, state domicile and other academic qualifications are given below below:

Nationality: Applicants must be Indian nationals

state Domicile: All applicants must be bonafide resident of Punjab state. In addition to this following applicants may also apply:

applicants who are sons and daughters of late employee of Punjab Government/Central Government/All India Services.

Children of late employees of military/ex-military/ paramilitary forces, born in the territory of Punjab.
-
Children of defence personnel posted in Punjab.

Minority and NRI applicants may also apply

Age limit: The applicants must be no less than 17 years of age as on December 31, 2023.

Qualifying exam: The applicants must have passed 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects and must be passed in each subjects individually. The applicants also needs to score at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB (or Biotechnology). Although there is some relaxation for PwD candidates( 45% marks), and reserved category applicants (40% marks).

Punjab MBBS Counselling cum Admission Form 2023
The admission form of Punjab MBBS 2023 will be released in the month of June ,2023, in online mode. Eligible applicants can fill and submit the admission form before last date. The admission form filling process which includes steps like registration process, uploading of required documents and deposit of application fee.
How to fill admission form of Punjab MBBS 2023 ?

Online Registration – The aspirant has to first get registered by entering valid contact number and email id, his/her name, NEET UG 2023 roll no. and All India Rank or score. After successful online registration, registration no. and password will be forwarded on the mobile number and e-mail id.

Deposit of admission fee – The application fee can be deposit online through net banking. In addition to this challan payment is also possible, for which the applicants has to first download and take printout of the Bank e-challan which will be generated after successful registration.

Punjab MBBS admission 2023 Document Verification Process
The document verification process will be conducted in offline mode on the given venue after declaration of counselling schedule . Applicants who have successfully applied the admission form have to report at the assigned document verification centers and get their documents verified.
Punjab MBBS BDS 2023– Reservation Criteria
Applicants who are natives of Punjab are eligible for reservation as per the category they belong to. For example, seats up to the tune of 25% are reserved for SC candidates in government and government-aided colleges.
