NEET PG 2020 will be valid for the following:

  • All India 50% quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses across all states except Jammu & Kashmir (may be included this year)
  • State quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for all States/Union territories of India including the  mentioned above
  • MD/MS/PG Diploma courses offered by Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities across India
  • MD/MS/PG Diploma courses offered by Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions
  • DNB Broad specialty courses (January 2020 Admission Session)

NEET PG 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • Any candidate having an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate which is recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 is eligible  for NEET PG.
  • He/ she should also possess a permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
  • He/ she must have completed one year of internship which is likely to be  complete the internship on or before March 31, 2020 .
  • Any candidate found ineligible at any stage of NEET PG 2020 will not be allowed to take the exam or apply for counseling. His/her result or candidature will also be cancelled.
  • Application of all those aspirants will be rejected  who will complete their internship after 31st March 2020.
  • Mere Registration and /or appearance in NEET PG 2020 does not make aspirants eligible for admission at medical institute /college for MD/MS or PG Diploma Courses.

Registration for NEET PG mock tests

December 20, 2019

  • Candidate can register on the official website of NBE to appear for the mock tests
  • No fee will be charged for these mock tests

NEET PG 2020 admit card

December 31, 2019

  • Admit card has to be downloaded from the official website only
  • Candidate needs to affix a passport-sized photo on the admit card

  • The question paper would have 300 MCQs
  • Total marks=1200

Online registration for NEET PG 2020

Medical candidates of NEET PG 2020 must register themselves on the official website of NBE and fill the application form. NEET PG 2020 application process involves 4 major steps:

  1. Complete your profile on the NBE website
  2. Fill the NEET PG  2020 application form
  3. Choosing the desired test city
  4. Pay the application fee for NEET PG 2020(credit card/ debit card/ net banking)

NEET PG 2020 admit card

NEET PG admit card 2020 can be available after successful registration . All the data must be carefully checked by the candidate after downloading his/her NEET PG 2020 admit card. He/ she must then print a copy of NEET PG admit cards and affix a latest passport size photograph on it which you have uploaded in online form. Specifications of the photograph are as under:

Photograph specification:

  • Photograph of a minimum of 35 mm x 45 mm with at least 75% coverage of face & head of the candidate.
  • A caption with the name of the aspirant along with the date of taking photograph at the bottom of the photo.
  • The photograph should have been taken in a white /very light-colored background
  • Photograph needs to be printed on a high-quality paper with at least 600 dpi Resolutions.
  • The colors must possess the natural appearance and skin tone.
  • Photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains.
  • The photograph with reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes should not be used

NEET PG 2020 result

NEET PG 2020 result will be uploaded online on the official website of NBE. The result of NEET PG 2020 will be released in a PDF format. Candidates who clear the examination will be able to download the scorecard/ rank card by entering the details  into their registered account on the official website on National Board of Examination.

Ans: Currently there is  no limit  on the number of attempts for NEET PG.

Q.2 Is there any EWS quota in NEET PG 2020?

Ans :Yes,EWS quota is also applicable  in NEET PG 2020 just like NEET UG 2019.

Q.3 How many seats are there  in NEET PG 2020/neet pg total seat 2020 ?

Ans:Total number of MD+MS+Diploma seats in India: MS 10,821, MD 19, 953, PG Diploma 1, 979 and DNB CET 1,338 .
