NEET PG counselling is a process in India for admission to Post Graduate medical courses such as MD/MS/MDS/Diploma courses in various medical colleges across the country. The counselling process is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
The NEET PG counselling process typically involves several rounds of online counselling, during which candidates are allotted seats based on their All India Rank (AIR) and the availability of seats in various medical colleges. Medical aspirants are supposed to register and participate in the counselling process to be considered for admission to postgraduate medical courses.
To participate in NEET PG counselling, candidates must first qualify the NEET PG exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). After the results are declared, eligible candidates are required to register for counselling on the MCC website and submit their choices of colleges and courses.
Based on the choices submitted by the candidates, the MCC conducts several rounds of counselling and seat allotment. Candidates who are allotted seats must complete the admission process by reporting to the allotted college and submitting the required documents and fees.
It is important to note that the NEET PG counselling process is highly competitive, and candidates must prepare thoroughly to qualify the NEET PG exam and secure a good rank to increase their chances of getting admission to their preferred colleges and courses.
